So far the only names I hear are McCain-iac, Guiliani, Frist. Yech!!!!!!!!!!
Right-o Don-o. They have been accused. He should support the boys HE sent over there until it is proven they are guilty. I'm no Bush Basher but I criticize him when it's warranted. You can't have listened to his response about the accused Marines and thought he sounded like a great leader.
Pretty RINOish list so far. I'll support whoever gets the nomination though. Hopefully not McCain.

You're damned right. Democrats, leftist liberals and Republicans......oh my.
Love the tag line!
Over. Come on.
We need a Reagan-like conservative, someone who can speak with STRENGTH and CONVICTION and bring the party together, not just someone who can read the letters on a page.
Bush didn't come to the aid of Patano so I knew he wouldn't say anything in defense of these marines. He only spoke up because his advisors told him to I'm sure to placate er I mean appease the Muslim world.
Maybe Bush should call them "vigilantes" like he did the minute-men!!
As Savage says, the force behind Bush's words is totally lacking. Did you hear the clips? The media are out in full force led by their new leader-Murtha and Bush says shakily "those responsible will be punished", rather than say let's wait to see IF there was anything done wrong and IF SO those found guilty will be punished.
Hey maybe I should run, even I'd know what to say!
I think he's a caller.........
When Bush was interviewed when Blair was visiting, his tone was very subdued, too.
He sounds as if he is just filling time until his term is over. He is seemingly more and more out of touch with mainstream America; he lost touch with the conservatives a long time ago.
This guy from Insight on the News is pretty good.
You know what--I'm not that great of an oral communicator myself but I can come up with something in written form and I bet I could have come up with something better than the President in oral form. Why don't you answer the question though--Do you think President Bush sounded like a great leader of our military that he sent over to Iraq with that uh, duh, well, wishy-washy garbage. I'll support those poor guys over there slogging it out and risking their lives over my political affiliation/allegiance any day. Our military deserves that and I'm not going to take what the news media tells me is the truth and swallow it down.
