Carter has moved from leftsits to terrorists..
Frank, Dean and Sammy had too much class to hang with those jerks.
bttt
He does not miss a chance to undermine a sitting president in a time of war, and if he is not the 1st to commit this treasonous and tasteless offence, he is very certainley the most prolific.
BTW, welcome to Free Republic. IBTZ
Lillian Carter still holds the record for the biggest boobs in America....Jimmy and Billy....
I like your candidate for President, however, I think your view on Carter is short-sighted and dangerous, and without personalizing it, it is the attitude expressed above that has allowed Carter to become so dangerous. Here's what dear Jimmy continues to do because some people think "oh hey, he's yesterday's news, we can ignore him."
* In North Korea Carter intervened without U.S. government backing to broker a deal where the U.S. PAID BILLIONS of dollars to North Korea in exchange for not developing nuclear weapons. North Korea took the billions and used it to develop nuclear weapons.
* In the Palestinian territory Carter defended the terrorist group Hamas and then called for the international community - including the United States - to provide funding for the Hamas-controlled government. He got world leaders including the Bush Administration to provide that funding - YOUR TAX DOLLARS are now being sent to Hamas. Good for the terrorists. Bad for you.
* In Iraq Carter opposed the sanctions against Saddam Hussein and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
* In Venezuela Carter provided a stamp of approval on the contested election of murderous Marxist dictator Hugo Chavez who has now aligned himself with Iran, and has been one of the most prominent allies of Fidel Castro and Saddam Hussein. Chavez has threatened retaliation against the U.S. if we take action to stop Iran's nuclear weapons program.
* Carter has received tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer funding through the Carter Center.
* Carter has provided credibility to the anti-GITMO campaign around the world. He has said U.S. troops at Guantanamo Bay are guilty of engaging in torture and that those held should be provided U.S. lawyers and U.S. court trials or released.
* Do I need to even bother talking about the damage Carter has done by legitimizing corrupt UN committees that suck untold billions from the United States treasury?
This is the HARM that Carter causes. He is able to use his position because no one has stood up to him. No one has condemned him when he has intentionally undermined U.S. foreign policy or endangered our national security.
The media did absolutely NO investigation at first, because they weren't happy that the feds had nabbed someone involved in the scandal.
Then we at Move America Forward found out about Samir Vincent's ties to Jimmy Carter and we put word out. The mainstream press ignored the story. WorldNetDaily and Free Republic were the only places you could find out the details.
Finally the story got picked up by Fox News Channel because of all the buzz created here at FR and through WND.
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I have a feeling you are right!
Did you see this today? (I didn't, and this is news to me.)
Isn't this interesting information that no one will hear about from the MSM?
No, I did not.
I never liked Carter, viewed him as a very poor leader--but I never considered him disloyal to America. So, one more traitor to add to the ever increasing pile of traitors.
From now on, it has to be: Jihad Jimmy.
That name is fitting and proper for this ex-president.
You can watch it for yourself - CLICK HERE.
Well, well look what the REAL 'culture of corruption' has coughed up.
Jimmy Carter is/was/always will be a small man. Think this will hurt his son's election chances? ;)
Ex-President Carter met with more than 10 of Osama Bin Laden's relatives (on repeated occassions) to secure the money. This follows Carter's shameful associations with Iraqi Intelligence Agent, Samir Vincent, who admitted to participating in the Oil for Food scam as an agent of Saddam Hussein.
