Replacing Hillary with Al Gore is a bit like replacing a bad batter with one that is blind. As a pinch hitter Al sucks.
Adding insult to injury, the following morning, NBCs Katie Couric invited Al Gore on to the Today Show to discuss his new movie about global warming. As reported by NewsBusters, Couric gushed all over her guest:
I think in this movie, at different turns, you are funny, vulnerable, disarming, self-effacing and someone said after watching it, if only he was like this before, maybe things would have turned out differently in 2000.
Back when Hellary first ran for the Senate the media dumped all the bad news about Bill and Hill right away in attempt to get it out of the way
That way they could say it was old news
The Clinton's have a tendency of repeating old game plays
Though I will say ... the list of candidates for a possible run on the Dem side is looking pretty poor
The "Anti-Hill"?
I love it that the media seems to be dumping hillary but on a larger note, doesn't it p*ss you off that the media is choosing ANY candidate on either side? They are making news rather than reporting it.
Interesting analysis, but I think he starts off somewhat flawed. He initially credits Newsweek and Time with helping sabotage Dean to make the case that the lib media did Dean in.
But Dean was already toast. At least a week before the IA Dem caucus FOX News' Carl Cameron reported that despite all the positive hype about the 'power of Dean's internet campaign' (and there was a lot of that, far outweighing Time and Newsweek), Dean was losing badly on the ground.
Both Kerry and Edwards had invested much more time recruiting key people in IA who could get out actual voters on a cold IA day instead of people more comfortable sitting at home venting on the internet.
The gist of Cameron's insightful report (while most were hyping Dean) was that Kerry had recently had a rally with 4-5K people, Edwards had a rally with 1-2K and Dean was only able to draw a couple dozen.
That does not change the fact that the dem left moonbats are off their rocker over the Iraq war and are currently taking out their anger on Hillary, but IMHO comparing Hillary's current situation with Dean in 2004 is not valid.
So that's just my $2 (adjusted for inflation)
Add to the mix!!!

I'd say that ALgore better watch his back, except for one fact. If he was half-smart, he made copious notes as to all the corruption going on in the Arkansas Mafia couple's dealings during their eight years in the White House. Hillary might be the black mailee, instead of the usual black mailer. in that case. Somebody start the popcorn for'07. This will be interesting to watch.
Students were assigned to read 2 books, "Titanic" & "My Life" by Bill Clinton. One smart ass student turned in the following book report, with the proposition that they were nearly identical stories!
His cool professor gave him an A+ for this report:
Titanic: $29.99
Clinton: $29.99
Titanic: Over 3 hours to read
Clinton: Over 3 hours to read
Titanic : The story of Jack and Rose, their forbidden love, and subsequent catastrophe.
Clinton: The story of Bill and Monica, their forbidden love, and subsequent catastrophe.
Titanic: Jack is a starving artist.
Clinton: Bill is a bullsh#% artist.
Titanic: In one scene, Jack enjoys a good cigar.
Clinton: Ditto for Bill.
Titanic: During ordeal, Rose's dress gets ruined.
Clinton: Ditto for Monica.
Titanic: Jack teaches Rose to spit.
Clinton: Let's not go there.
Titanic: Rose gets to keep her jewelry.
Clinton: Monica's forced to return her gifts.
Titanic: Rose remembers Jack for the rest of her life.
Clinton: Clinton doesn't remember Jack.
Titanic: Rose goes down on a vessel full of seamen.
Clinton: Monica...ooh, let's not go there, either.
Titanic: Jack surrenders to an icy death.
Clinton: Bill goes home to Hilary...basically the same thing
I have a dream.
Gore's insane black minister rantings will be as popular with the general voters as Dean's wailing was. Just play his own speeches over and over.
She just smells dead.
The NY media is going all-out in propping up a 'refreshed, energized, suddenly relevant' Al Gore. They do not want HRC.
Ha. Seems even the hard-core koolaid-drinkers may be suffering from accute clinton fatigue...
My prediction: Hillary trails along in Big Al's wake until the big primary states come in, then makes her move. Hillary needs a sprint, not a marathon.
"The New Al Gore." What a hoot! Hilary or Gore, they're both certified losers.
The pre-Memorial Day week began poorly for the Clintons, as one of their major media cheerleaders, Chris Matthews... |
