In my view Hastert and Frist have both been both ineffective, but a huge, sustained political problem for President Bush.

I would suggest that Frist displays a political naivete that is just appalling; whereas Hastert is simply as dumb as a standing clay brick.

In any event, these two turkeys have been a collective political disaster for far too long.
