Savage has gotten dull. He took a week off for the heck of it with no guest host and then has done nothing but read from "his" book and play rock and roll since he got back.
He really doesn't seem that committed to the show.
I think Savage is either getting burned-out or is getting bored doing the show. You can't keep doing a show bashing all the time without it taking a lot out of you.
The problem is you got both Repubs and the Rats continually doing things that need to be bashed. Where is the opposition to them? Talkradio?
