Spin: to become baby boomer care center.

"Reaction to the announcement ranged from enthusiastic to skeptical, with questions raised about the ability of other hospitals to handle the 16,000 emergency patients El Dorado sees each year."

After TMC closed its trauma center due to unpaid bills, all mention of this was carefully avoided in the Red Star's article.

Yes and its an ironic counterpoint to the Senate's rewarding illegals with the federal gravy train.

Why you meanie you. They just closed because "the rich" wouldn't pay their fair share for undocumented migrants' healthcare. :-)

The emergency room in Arizona - free medical care for illegals, who sit there talking on their cell phones. A four hour wait for citizens.

"TMC is licensed for more than 600 beds but because of the shortage of nurses and other hospital workers — here and across the country — has only 450 beds in use, Alvarez said."

They never want to admit that they've got a shortage of doctors. But you can be relatively certain that the problem that motivated this is that they did not have enough doctors to man two facilities, so they are consolidating them.

Fat Teddy and the RINOS will make sure we all pay what

Illegals, bringing in the diseases and violence Americans want to avoid.

Good. I hope the problems caused by Illegals in this country become more and more profoundly obvious as the days go by.

This is actually good news for our team.

How about thanking the trial lawyers for the ER shutdown.

Oh I forgot the trial lawyers are the democrats biggest donors, it's much easier to blame Jose.

As you ignore the real culprit, the trial lawyers.

NPR did a fun story on how the "anti-immigrant" people lost their argument when a hospital did not close from the unpaid bills of the "border crossers" because the one billion dollars Washington sent to "help" the border hospitals started paying off. They did complain about it being not enough money and it took too long to get it though.

Funny, I sat in an ER with my wife for several hours in Tucson on Friday night and I didn't see one illegal in the waiting room the entire time.

All hospitals across the U.S. should send their un-paid bills to the Mexican government. OUR gov. should REQUIRE Mexico to pay those bills. This is not a third world country we are dealing with, they rank thirteenth in wealth world wide.

And as long as we keep supporting them, in this regard, providing `free' medical services, they'll keep coming, and Mexico will continue to encourage and assist them.

Congress, executive branch--hello? Are you there? Oh, you won't accept the charges . . .
Our mistake. We thought you worked for us.

And since the Mexicans figure (correctly) that they need to get in `under the wire' before amnesty kicks in, in the past several days even more illegal aliens are heading north as fast as they can, while the Border Patrol says there's nothing they can do.
