Why So Little Protest On Iraq? CBS' Dotty Lynch On Theories On Low Anti-War Decibel Level
May 30, 2006
Last paragraph- "People at CBS News were touched personally and deeply by the Iraq war on Monday. But must it take a direct a hit for all Americans to get engaged and demand a serious re-examination from those in power whose policies have caused so much bloodshed and damaged America's reputation around the globe?"

At least we know who the enemies within are. |
"But must it take a direct a hit for all Americans to get engaged and demand a serious re-examination from those in power whose policies have caused so much bloodshed and damaged America's reputation around the globe?""
SICK SICK SICK BASTARDS!
Oh only when media people are hurt or killed should Americans care? Military deaths just arent enough for them? THESE PEOPLE ARE DERANGED.
HOW ABOUT THIS CBS.....YOUR SICK EFFING NETWORK SIDING WITH THE DAMN ENEMY EVERYTIME ENCOURAGES THE ENEMY.
How about that? How about taking responsiblity for enouraging them since DAY ONE to attack us?
Bastards.
Politicizing their own tragedy. Shameless. No one forced any journalist to be in Iraq.
Her heroes.
The sweet sight of the aged lecturing "young people".
I shall retain life's lessons and never be that way. (And I am NOT acusing all elders of being like her.... most certainly AREN'T.)
I'm just as sorry as anybody that these people were killed, but if this is their stance, why don't they just stop sending people over here? Nobody's forcing them to come here.
Besides, it's not like they're actually reporting the truth our of Iraq. They can stay in the safety of their homes and make stuff up just as easily as they can at the Palestine Hotel in Baghdad.
Sideline to family and friends who are on FR: If anything happens to me here, I will spin in my grave if any of my loved ones makes a comment like that. I chose to come; I knew what I was getting into. And I SUPPORT this mission.
Hence, my tagline.
these are the same quacks who blame the tobacco companies for their smoking addicitions and the credit card companies for the fact they are in debt up to their eyeballs....they send reporters over to cover a story...their reporters are killed....it can't be their fault...
""But must it take a direct a hit for all Americans to get engaged and demand a serious re-examination from those in power whose policies have caused so much bloodshed and damaged America's reputation around the globe?""
I just assumed they meant the Democrats in congress who sold our country out. /sarcasm
Since the journalists were killed by an IED, could we term this to be a "friendly fire" incident?
At last! A media source either wittingly or unwittingly reveals the media's REAL agenda in their "nothing but negative" coverage of Iraq, to spur an active anti-Vietnam-like movement of war protests against the ongoing liberation of Iraq. Of course we know their relentlessly and shamelessly gore-ridden coverage of Iraq to the exclusion of all the positive things going on there also was meant to drain off public support for the liberation as a first step culminating in their hoped for mass anti-liberation protests. They've succeeded in the first instance in turning people against the continuing effort to rid Al Qaeda from Iraq. Now they're whining that Americans haven't taken the bait and taken to the streets. It is so refreshing to finally get some candor out of these shameless partisans, all but admitting their whole aim is to get us out of Iraq.
This CBS reporter being wounded in Iraq I call "the chickens coming home to roost." CBS and the rest of the MSM have emboldened and motivated terrorists in Iraq by sowing division on the war here at home. What happened to the reporter is a direct result of their having helped the insurgency to thrive. And had they not had this reporter over there all in the service of the MSM's pathologically obsessive need to find negative stories to report on Iraq, the 2 CBS crew members would be alive now and this reporter not laying in critical condition in the hospital.
By the way, when did it become CBS's job to demand the public create an outcry calling for a "serious reexamination" of US policy on anything? Their job is to report the news, not activism. CBS just further solidifies itself as the leader of the dinosaur media marching right into extinction.
Americans do not protest our enemies killing our enemies.
EARTH TO CBS: TERRORISTS killed and maimed those people!
Okay, by their logic, a woman who walks into a seedy bar wearing a short skirt gets raped, it's her fault for going in the bar. But, Libs would never say that, would they?
LIBS want it both ways.
Yep those responsible for encouraging the insurgency in Iraq, for example CBS news, of course refuse to accept their responsibility when one of their own gets hurt.
"Why So Little Protest On Iraq?"
Maybe it's because the American public is waking up to the fact that the Islamofascists are at war with America and Western civilization and want to kill every single one of us not to mention Israel and every single Jewish person in the world.
Maybe it's because the American public is aware of the fact the the Muslims are absolutely nuts, backwards, barbaric, cruel and stupid and want to end Western civilization.
Maybe the American public is afraid the Islamofascists are going to nuke NYC and DC and other places the first minute they get nukes.
Everybody but the "liberals" is aware of this reality and doesn't want to turn the other cheek.
God Bless and a belated Memorial Day thanks...
It was obviously a "friendly fire" incident.
Well, well, well, the true bias comes out! CBS sorry about your lose but now STFU!
