Oh scratch my last totals
DaVinci Code has taken in
$464,981,000

I suppose "Closed minded religion-bots" is your hateful and bigoted reference to Christians
Not at all! I am a Christian, just not a mind numbed robot follower of some greedy, fanatical cult. Please don't lump all Christians into a single category.

DC is on my radar to watch based soley on the threads on the FR. Then I respect most of Ron Howard's work, particularly when Tom Hanks is involved in the projects.
BTW, $500,000,000 is an incredible achievement in a short span of time. Still, I'll probably wait for DVD or PPV.

Dog doo-doo tastes bad.
Dog doo-doo tastes bad.
Dog doo-doo tastes bad.
Dog doo-doo tastes bad.
There, by your logic it's even better.

"I heard that anyone who ever attended catholic school is purchasing a ticket just to see the albino slug the nun."
Heh.
Thank God I was a Jewish kid.

Oh, much more serious than voting.
The dead can't buy tickets and go see movies, but they vote all the time. Most of them several times each.
For democrats.

Rotten tomatoes has it hovering around 50%. Not impressive.

Interesting, do you have the world wides for the Passion of the Christ after two weeks?

To me the best scene in the movie is when Sophie tells that she came home unexpectantly and witnessed her "guardian" (Grand Master)grandfather, in some sort of weird ceremony.
He was having sex..............

I wasn't aware it was a contest. Guess I haven't been reading FR enough.

Your trip sounds wonderful! Being a history nut, and a teacher, I always look for ways to get my students hooked on learning. To me, "National Treasure" would be an amazing way to get young people interested, "vested" if you will, in the history of their own country!
