So...these people have the military intelligence pictures? Or, have they seen them?

I don't think so. All they have, in essence is a ...he said, she said, with no specific names, that lines up with what they so desperately want to be true.

And in the middle of all that, you have this:

One photograph shows an Iraqi mother and young child, kneeling on the floor as if in prayer. They have both been shot dead at close range.

So, we are to believe that the woman and child were still kneeling in prayer after being shot dead at close range? I don't think they would remain in said position.

How do they know they were kneeling in prayer before being shot? And how do they know who shot them from a photo? For that matter, how do they know it is a mother and her child?

This is written to evoke the most horrible emotion possible against our combat troops in a media feeding frenzy. By people who haven't the slightest clue about the situation specifically, or combat in general...who have an agenda to push. Nothing more, nothing less.

Nope...the old addage, innocent until proven guilty still holds and the truth of the matter can only be ascertained by a thorough investigation. I will wait on that to happen...and it will happen.

Has anyone stopped to think that the Iraqi Propaganda machine is at work here... The Insurgents and terrorists have no qualms about killing Iraqi civilians to make propaganda points... Prove that a Marine shot those women and children beyond a reasonable dobut first... Until then they have my 100 percent support.

The pictures also show other Iraqi victims, shot execution-style in the head and chest in their ownhomes.

But...but...I thought the original meme was that the Marines were in a rage over the death of their buddy in a roadside bomb attack, that they attacked the innocent Iraqis in an orgy of violence. They were so "stressed" by the awful demands made on them by the White House, that they "snapped" and went nuts and killed all those innocents.

Right?

Now we have people being killed "execution style." Execution style isn't a crime of passion.

So what is it?

It appears that, yes a massacre did occur, but where is the evidence that the Marines did it?

Is it just possible that perhaps the terrorists did it, in the hopes of pinning it on the Marines, and terrifying the locals into testifying that the Marines did it?

I'll wait for more information to come out. And I won't take the MSM at their word.

I don't want to seem to be justifying this in any sense of the word. But the duplicity should be evident to anyone with eyes. Remember that the vermin we're fighting routinely BEHEAD innocent civilian contractors. They casually TORTURE anyone they perceive as an "enemy." They hijacked four jet airplanes and crashed them into office buildings on 9/11. They detonate bombs aboard commuter buses, trains, and subways. They brag about wanting to explode "dirty" nuclear weapons in American cities, malls, or schools.

These wretches have ABSOLUTELY NO MORAL HIGH GROUND from which to claim umbrage! If a handful of US Marines went beserk and murdered innocents, they will be dealt with -- as they should. But this in no way makes the US the bad guys, and the poor towelheads innocent victims. In fact, if we were following the rules of engagement THEY laid down, the concept of "atrocity" would be obsolete.

I'm still trying to figure out how the photos are evidence that the marines did ANYTHING! As nearly as I can tell they show dead people - not who caused them to be that way.

Those marines MAY have done this (though it doesn't smell right) but the photos themselves aren't proof of it. Insurgents could have killed these people.

Who has the ability to film in a fire zone and would figure the best thing to do would be to film our troops executing people? Doesn't make sense or seem possible.

However, photos aren't the same as video. The "caught on film" is technically correct, but gives a false impression.
