Did the Marine eyewitness say that others Marines killed the civilians? The media is going to make this incident, if it was true to start with, as if our military is committing mass suicide on a daily basis and that why we must be vigilant and fight their lies and defend our troops.

You are going to defend our troops from this coming liberal media offensive aren't you?

Really, and you know this marine on a personal level? You were there with him, correct?

The LA Times? Now really even you can cross these t's.

Believe nothing you hear and 1/4 of what you see on the MSM.

Hello they cannot even get the obituary correct these days.

Eyewitness to what?

Certainly not any crime, an eyewitness of several dead people... sure

Sorry, this is an eyewitness. A Marine.

The way the article reads to me, this Marine didn't witness the event but rather the aftermath.

Sorry, he isn't an eyewitness to the incident, just its aftermath.

No, he was a witness to dead bodies after the fact. And considering the hit-pieces that the media has been caught perpetrating, he's gotta be the biggest idiot alive to even be talking to the press. The only military that should be talking to the press is the public affairs office.

At most, this is an eyewitness to what he saw. He was sent to recover bodies. He did not witness the killing.

I am confident this matter will be thoroughly investigated by US Military authories and the chips will fall where they may. Do you share this confidence?

Here is how I look at this thing:

If it is a matter of the Marines going in and knowingly shooting defenseless women and children, then it is a war crime and must be punished harshly. However, I find this very unlikely.

If it is a matter of Marines firing upon a structure from which they were taking fire, and in the process killing a bunch of women and children, I would like to see a writ of War is Hell to be issued, and everybody get off with administrative punishment, loss of rank or dishonorable discharge, etc.

The enemy hides amongst the civilians. That makes the work of the Marines very difficult and dangerous.

Good evening.
"Sorry, this is an eyewitness. A Marine."

That doesn't mean his story is accurate, or even true for that matter.

Murtha was a Marine, as was Mother Sheehan's gay Marine buddy.

How about the generals. Their goal is to harm W and Rumsfeld for political reasons and if it causes harm to the war effort, so be it.

Let's wait and see.

He was an eyewitness to the aftermath. He was not there and did not see WHO shot these people. If it was Marines who killed them, they need to be punished. However, the investigation needs to be completed before the Marines can be charged.

It could well be that the terrorists, who had purportedly been hiding in the homes and firing at the Marines after the IED exploded, could have shot those people as they ran out the back of the homes, away from the advancing Marines.

"Sorry, this is an eyewitness. "

Nice try.

This guy was NOT an eyewitness to anything other than bodies. Even HE is NOT claiming that he SAW it occur.

Maybe you don't realize that there are always bodies in a war zone, but that DOES NOT make soldiers murderers.

What are you attempting to get out of the tone of all you have posted here today?
