Poll: Hillary Has 19 Percent Firm Support

A bare 19 percent of those polled by ABC said they would definitely vote for Sen. Hillary Clinton,D-N.Y., while almost half - 42 percent - said there was no way they'd vote for her in a contest for the presidency in 2008.

According to the New York Post, Hillary is a polarizing figure who falls short of attracting the cross-over vote needed to win the White House.

While 38 percent say they would consider backing her, 42 percent say they definitely won't back her if she runs, the ABC News poll found.

The Post remarked that the poll results mean Clinton could win a majority only by winning over 80 percent of those who are now undecided on her candidacy.

The poll also underscored the fact that Clinton has little crossover appeal, wrote the Post's top political reporter Deborah Orin.

Warner and Bayh are nowhere near liberal enough to make it through the 'Rat primaries.

Only 19 percent? Did they remember to poll all the cemeteries? That should give her a good bounce up.

Good, now if McCain would only re-register to the party he really belongs to and run against her in the primary so we can run some real Republican's against him in '08 ..

Sure it's only 19% now but they're not counting the illegal alien/cemetary bounce that will vault her into the lead.

I wouldn't put my cart behind this horse just yet...

clintons are dirty people and they do what they have to, to get what they want....how many people died that knew clinton so far....how many more are going to die if the slime thing doesn't get her own way.....

They also need to poll illegal aliens and convicted felons. And the vote early vote often crowd needs to be polled a dozen or so times...each.

Wouldn't it be great if this scumbag lost both the Senate and the Presidential nomination. It would be the best news America ever had.

"Hillary Has 19 Percent Firm Support"

That would be her underwire bra. The rest of the gelatinous mass remains suspended without visible means of support.

There....fixed it. ...although according to the now infamous pic there is a good amount of cellulite material in the mix.

I suggest the Democrats are stupid enough to turn to Gore in the instance of a faltering Hillary campaign.
