I am assuming Mr. Ricco had a description of this chump. If so, why wouldn't the newspaper add that to the story?

Here is an idea:
If you live near a Va hospital:
Look around your house and collect the paperback books, drop them off at the hospital.
Stop at the local donut shop, pick up a dozen and take to the Volunteer office at the VA hospital.
Go to the volunteer office and tell them you have 2 hours to spare, Is there something you can do. I promise you will NOT be carrying urine samples around, you probably will be pushing a Vet around in a wheel chair for his/her appointments. Anothwer promise, it will be a very rewarding 2 hours.

I spent a fascinating hour talking with a WW2 vet at the Wal-Mart entrance. He was a Navy vet and had served in the Pacific in the war..

I wish I lived nearer to a V.A. Hospital. My son goes to one and it's a three hour drive one way.

Unbelievable. I donated to this very group at this Walmart last Friday! No, I declined the poppy they offered. The gentleman there is very nice and unpresuming.

Any FReepers have a suggestion for how we can make this theft preventable in the future? I'll go over and set it up if we can come up with something.

Busy, he works a lot of over time. He's not old enough yet to have learned to slow down and enjoy life.
