White House Letter: Like it or not, Bush III is being primed to run

WASHINGTON Bush III? Or has the dynasty run its course? Those are the questions some Republicans are asking themselves as political talk bubbles up yet again about President George W. Bush's brother, Governor Jeb Bush of Florida, and his interest in the White House. The chief driver of the mini-buzz is the current occupant of the White House, who has said twice this month that his younger brother would make "a great president."
No one is suggesting, the president included, that the younger Bush will run in 2008, and Governor Bush, whose second term is up at the end of this year, has adamantly ruled it out.
But Republican party leaders continue to talk seriously about a continuation of the dynasty, a Bush III administration, with Jeb as a candidate in 2012 or 2016, when the memory of the current president's dismal poll ratings will be less of a factor. That, at least, is what happened the last time around, when the first President Bush's unpopularity at the end of his term in 1992 did not hurt his eldest son when he ran for president eight years later.

Another Bush? Hmm, no thanks. Two Bush moderates have been enough.

Didn't Nostradamus predict this? The quatrain about the three brothers.
Jeb is what America is craving right now. Another open borders, moderate Republican.

Jeb runs. I will vote for the opponent. Don't ask me why. Don't tell me I giving the election to the Dems. The Pubs gave the presidency again to Clinton when the nominated Dole. I can give it to them if Jeb runs.

Don't have a problemm with Jeb Bush at all.
He has been one of the best governors in the country for ages.
After all, if Hitlery( with no political achievements whatsoever in her life) is running in 2008, why can't Jeb run in 2012 or 2016?

The Republican Party is what you make of it.
If you don't like the current trend of things, then organize to take over positions in the party, and start drafting fresh talent to run in the primaries.
Don't get me wrong - I'm in the same boat as you. But the idea of choosing between a RINO (which JEB probably is, as all Bushes have shown to be) and a Democrat (with their Marxist bent) is like choosing between a turd sandwich and a urine lemonade. Better to cook your own meal!

The WH and "Republican Party Leaders" need to clean the wax out of their ears and listen to the people, Jeb has about as much chance of winning as does Ted Kennedy, the people are fed up with the elite dynasties.
It's scary that these clowns still don't get it!

Adams, Roosevelts, Kennedys, Tafts, Bushes, Rockefellers, Clintons....
If one were paranoid, they might see some type of conspiracy here.

I like the thought of a possibility of a run in 2012.

I honestly think that Jeb may have been a better President than George. That being said, the next President would have to be really DISMAL before I would consider voting for another Bush.

...Governor Jeb Bush of Florida...not for me - not after he played the race card with illegal immigration, saying his wife was offended and hurt by all the talk about sending illegals home......

Don't have a problemm with Jeb Bush at all. He has been one of the best governors in the country for ages.Being a good governor does not mean he will be a good President.
Jeb sided with enviromentalists when he agreed to no drilling off the shore of Florida.
Jeb sides with most Dims when it comes to the border: He likes open borders.
Two BIG strikes against Jeb.
Another globalist in Bush clothing??

There is no difference between a RINO and a liberal Democrat. Who are you trying to kid? They are two fingers of the same hand.

If you vote for the Democrat, you are doing your best to give the election to the Democrat, and will deserve suitable blame.
If you vote 3rd party, you will at least be sending a message that might prove effective.

That would be two brothers. Daddy is the first. I doubt Neil would go for it after the Silverado S&L thing...
maybe Nostradamus meant Jack, Bobby, and the swimmer...
