read post #113. He would have been protecting the "peoples house" against the search, but since the search was justified in this case, he would let them search.

Have you ever watched the opening of Parliment??? The object lesson is there. The King has no business in the House of the people. Unless invited in.

"The King has no business in the House of the people."

What King? We are talking the executive branch initiating a legally tendered search warrant approved by the judicial branch.

I read post 113 five times. And, no I have never seen the opening of Parliament. But, another posted clarified.Big deal.

Maybe I am missing something in your "people's house" argument. There is a legally issued search warrant. The case law is in place that holds a critter not immune.

Can you point me to the section of the US Constitution whereby "the people" have exempted Congressfolks from the Supreme Law of the Land?

The house of the people is my house. The House of Representatives is not the house of the people, it is a den of thieves.

The President is not a King. He's an elected official just as much as is any Congressman or Senator. Unlike them, he's subject to term limits. Funny thing about that, when Congress (Republicans IIRC) was all hot to limit the terms of Presidents, they neglected to limit their own terms. In this case, as in so many others, sauce for the goose is not sauce for the gander.
