How? Unless Congress adapts the Senate Bill without change, it is never going to be a national issue.
"It is worth noting that the three of the four Dems up for reelection this year voted against the bill."
Except 2 of those 3 (Byrd and Nelson) aren't even remotely vulnerable to losing their re-election. And Dorgan is from North Dakota, which is very conservative state despite electing a Democrat for the Senate (kind of like Maine electing a Republican Senator). And 3 Republicans who voted for it are also up for re-election including Dewine of OH who is very vulnerable.
"The House bill was passed with a sizeable majority including many Dems."
The bill passed with a 55% majority and 82% percent of Democrats voted against it.
Wow...you READ my tagline???? Thanks, I can't take credit for coming up with it, but I did snatch it up real quick when I first saw it. Too funny...and NOT a bad idea! Florida has so many extra "little helpers" of the reptilian kind.
NOUN:
Something, such as a belief or institution, that elicits blind and destructive devotion or to which people are ruthlessly sacrificed. An overwhelming, advancing force that crushes or seems to crush everything in its path.....
This is what the senate is engaged in right now...pure and simple.
Too bad for us.
We can only hope and pray that the House stands firm so as to make some sense of the "immigration reform" bill.....our language and culture are at stake here.
Yeah, the FBI didn't WANT to search HIS office...they were afraid of what they'd see when they barged in! (BAD VISUAL!)
Yes, using the "little helpers" in an ecologically "friendly" way should please the greenies who will obviously against any kind of moat - because it might interrupt the migration of a lizard or something.
LOL! Good one!
Can anyone access Washington Post to get Ilario Pantano's letter about Murtha???
That wasn't the point but I'll respond anyway. There is no shortage of workers who want to come into the United States "legally" to work and who want to be US citizens, not guest workers.
I initially favored a guest worker program but have changed my mind because I do not think the US want to create and maintain an underclass of non-citizens working here. It seems to me to be a better decision to encourage people who want to be US citizens to come to America.
And the 'bots keep coming up with the profound counter that the Dems are worse! I picked up an old copy of Animal Farm yesterday; if you recall, the standard rejoinder of the pigs to any opposition was:
Have a great day/weekend all!!!
GOD BLESS THE MILITARY...OUR FREEDOM FIGHTERS! Thank you, thank you, thank you - one and all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Frist is completely ignoring all the BS amendments that was put in that Senate Bill."
What a weasel he is. My respect for Chris Wallace just went up - I thought he asked some great questions, that Frist completely ignored.
I'm now watching MTP and am guessing that no one will bring up the crime, corruption and drug dealing that is at least one reason why we have so many illegal Mexicons coming this way. Their country is nothing but a third world s..t hole.
With 30 million new immigrant lib voters coming, pretty soon he won't even have to appear on TV to ignore you.
It was a basic limitation of donations of hard money to campaigns which caused people to donate to what we call 527 organizations that have little accountability. These 527 groups can, and did, say anything to get a candidate elected. I'll send you more if you want it but the Campaign Finance Reform Act was one of Senator McCain and Finegold's worst ideas.
(527 refers to the IRS code)
Love ya, thanks. Going to read it now.
