The Senate has no clue as to how far out of touch they are with the people of this country. How could they have gotten so far out of the mainstream on immigration?
I hope the House will stick to its ideas and principles on this. They have a far better bill and can not, must not compromise on our national security.
Meanwhile, John McCain will NEVER be President over this and other actions. NEVER.
I stated on another thread that that lousy reptile McCain is my supposed senator. He's the ringleader of the whole stinking Rino mess.
The only way he has a shot at the WH is for the commie media to get the matchup with Hillary that they are pushing for. If Gore is a genuine candidate and gets the nomination he would clean Mr. Manchu's clock. If Gore could outpoint Bush in 2000, you know he could take the thing with a couple of million of us sitting it out.
[Meanwhile, John McCain will NEVER be President over this and other actions. NEVER.]
If only it is so, it seems liberalism has crept into the rino republican party and anything is possible at this point. Our generation has failed to raise generation x properly and now we will pay the piper it seems.
I can only pray for a new conservative party to arise out of the rinos and stand on the strict interpretaion of America's Constitution.
May the Lord Jesus Christ open up the eyes of the blind leaders to see the destructive path they are putting us on. Even President Bush does not believe in American sovereignty, he said some months ago that their should be no borders between America, Canada, and Mexico.
He has become a fool for the atheist liberals.
This has been the most befuddling question throughout this debate. I tend to agree with Rush's assessment as to why these senators are ignoring us.
This has nothing to do with immigration, it is about power, it's about bigger government. The elitist blueblood Republicans, i.e. moderates and some liberals have been seething since the '94 conservative takeover of the House.
This is conservatives vs. blueblood Rockefeller types. One wants to limit government, the other want to expand government. With more poor people flooding in to our country, the big government leaders see victims in the making for expanding the welfare system.
In short, the moderates/liberals such as McCain, Graham, et. al. are out to destroy the conservative movemment.
