Trent used to be a Democrat when he was first elected a congressman.
The people of Mississippi love him for some reason or another. Probably because he fought for jobs in the ship building industry.

Top Ten: only 2 pubbies (w/Snowe being a RINO) & 8 dimwits
Bottom Ten: 8 pubbies (w/most being conservative) & 2 dimwits
Says a lot about who's running the poll.

Any list that doesn't show 'my' reps, Patty "Osama isn't so bad" Murray, "Baghdad Jim" McDermott, and Maria Cant(vote)well at the absolute bottom of the pile is a compltetely flawed list.

I only approve of about 7 or 8 Senators.
I disapprove of over 90% of them.Lets have a little game and see if we can name the good senators... I'll start out

Trent Lott (D-Mississippi): 67%/31% ROTFL! SurveyUSA must be affiliated with SeeBS.
If the MSM is having problems with it, it must be getting harder to tell the 'RATS from the GOPers without a program.

Actually Lott is not better than Frist. Both are/were ineffective as Senate leaders.

What on earth is wrong with Texas? John Cornyn one of the lowest ranking? He's one of the best and smartest senators on the hill.
To: mariabush
Yea, but I think Lott was better then Frist... Sheesh, Frist lets the rats frame every debate and issue!

Trent Lott was with us on the immigration issue. If you're looking for Senators to get worked up about, Lott should be pretty far down the list.

"Where was the survey taken? The Pink Code Memorial Day BBQ?" LOL!
The poll is definitely bogus. Cornyn in Texas may not have the greatest poll numbers (especially in Austin). But trust me, Cornyn would win re-election easily.

I will never forgive Lott for not pushing Bill Clinton's impeachment.
I will bet Al Gore won't forgive him either. He would have been running as an incumbent and more than likely have won. But, on the other hand, if Gore had had a brain he would have been pushing impeachment himself.

It taught Gore a valuable lesson. Loyalty to the Clintons will yield you NOTHING.

SurveyUSA is the nation's largest, most-active media pollster, with 50 TV stations under long-term contract.
"Alex Storozynski is a politically savvy journalist who is a great addition to our team as we expand into radio and newspapers," said Jay H. Leve, president of Hypotenuse.

It's getting better. 32 post before someone managed to sneak in the immigration issue. One bill vote does not a good senator make.

The only reason there is a top 10 is because the bar is below ground level.
