WASHINGTON -- House Republican leaders yesterday refused to yield on immigration, insisting that any bill to emerge from upcoming House-Senate negotiations will contain no provisions for undocumented immigrants to become citizens.
House leaders' refusal to budge could make President Bush's goal of passing comprehensive immigration reform impossible to achieve this year. Senate leaders, backed by Bush, favor a plan to allow some undocumented immigrants to apply for guest worker visas, but they contend that denying such workers an eventual path to citizenship could create a permanent underclass.

This is really powerful - would like to see each representative and the Washington crowd aware of what America feels about cowboys (might be nice to send to our email lists - I have already done that).
I want to believe the House will hold firm, but they are going to be under some tremendous pressure to cave. First, you will have Bush, Rove, McCain et al threatening to cut off fundraising efforts for those who do not back amnesty. The drive by media will paint the conservatives in the House as racists, bigots, etc. for the next 2-3 months during the conference. I am confident the true conservatives will hold, but I am less confident of the northeastern RINO's. A coalition of NE Rinos and Dems can pass the amnesty legislation.
Many believed (including Pres. Jorge Busto) that the SCTOUS would take care of the unconstitutional campaign finance legislation. All politicians ducked for cover and climbed aboard the McCain / Feingold train and hoped for the SCOTUS to bail them out. I believe we are placing the same hopes in the House this time around and the deck is stacked against us. John McCain has nearly as much power as Bush and is using to destroy this country.
I know of one Senator that already learned about the new terrain...the hard way:

But, Bush isn't on our side on this one. His parents Had (and probably still have) domestic help from Mexico. George and Laura have domestic help from Mexico. Most of his wealthy friends have domestic help, gardeners, etc. from Mexico. Many of his contributors rely on cheap labor from Mexico.
Bush is no better than McCain on this issue.
Those people at the "massive public demonstrations" have never voted for a Republican and never will. The House Republicans need to understand that.

The existing laws should be enforced, and many provisions of the Senate bill are deal-breakers.
However, some form of amnesty need not be a deal-breaker; it is one thing that could be negotiable. This is why:
The vast majority of illegal aliens from Mexico and the rest of Latin America are Christian, family oriented, Christian, opposed to intrusive government, Christian, hard working, Christian, destined to be assimilated into U.S. culture, Christian, etc.
What we particularly do not want in the U.S. is a situation like Europe, notably France, in which unassilimilatable Muslims will become the majority in the near future, take over the government, and establish an Islamic theocracy.
And make no mistake--some of the Democrat leaders are malevolent enough, sadistic enough, and sufficiently self-interested to inflict exactly that on America.
This is yet another reason why Democrats must not be allowed to seize power--under any circumstances!
They are treated better than law-abiding American citizens. I have to pay for health care, and they don't. I pay taxes and they don't. They run accross international boundaries like they own the place, and I can't without my passport.

That's funny. Linds was just on O'Reilly the other night and said he only voted for it because it's the best bill they could get. Now we have Linds reportedly stating no deal without amnesty. Little weasel, thinks his voters in South carolina are bumpkins that can't read his two bit swindle for what it is. Ravenel or someone better must beat the little twerp in '08.
Reading further we have kennedy ready to declare Bush a type of god if he succeeds in selling out our country. Why, he sounds on the brink of love with our President!

Given that sense of urgency, moderate House Republicans, led by Representative Mike Castle of Delaware, have begun meeting to discuss possible compromises.
SOROS Republicans, and if they push this through I will down the GOP and take pleasure in their crest fallen faces when Specter surrenders his gavel to Leahy and pelosi attempts a smile on her overpulled face as they commandeers the majority in the House.
BTW, the fact SENATE and ADMIN love Pence signals to me he needs to be shut down. If he's too weak to stand against them, then get out of the House now. Retire. Or be retired.
That's right, hard to keep those two apart. John Campbell is my Representative and has been solid to date. I have an appointment with him next week and will post anything relative that I learn.

About 25 seconds into the clip it talks about the law was Mexican until it became part of the USA. It conceals the fact we WON it or we BOUGHT IT legitimatly! He goes into the "stangers in their own lands". It its pure reconquists fluf of the border moved!!!!
Our only hope to stop this mexican BS is the house.
