At tonight's NHL playoff game, the Buffalo Sabers had three severely wounded servicemen they introduced on the ice prior to the playing of the National Anthem. It was very moving.

This was so beautifully done. I loved the guy hitchhiking to Florida! It is such a pleasure to see this kind of tribute when all we hear is negative about our brave men and women in Iraq!

None more brave, none more honorable, none more deserving to be called American. This makes my proud to be a nonhyphenated American. God Bless them all and damn those who wish them harm. God Bless America!!!

Beautiful.
Just a note on the shots with friendly civilians: Armies have, as long as their have been armies, been feared and hated by civilian populations who came into contact with them, even "allies".
The American soldier has long been the exception to that rule and I am proud of those young men and women and very proud to have been one of them for 20 years.
