On April 16, 1944, my Mom's Uncle, Elgin J. Luckenbach was lost in New Guinea on Black Sunday. On April 21, 2006 his repatriated remains were buried in Arlington, along with most of the crew members.
I'm in Texas, and won't be there, but for Elgin, and the other brave men who gave their lives for freedom, please give Fred Phelps our Freegards.
