Sorry to bore you, but try typing "Chinese women" and "Chinese babies" into Google too. See what I mean? You could define countries as failed states where so many women are trying to get out and where so many babies are sold abroad. (You don't think you can just turn up and take them off for free do you? Have a look at the adoption Web sites. Some of those babies are being adopted by pedophiles. But I digress.)

China at least has laws forbidding single parent foreigners and homosexuals from adopting children--aimed directly at stopping the pedophile child trade. I'm not sure that Russia does--or if they do, that such laws are enforced at all. I did read that the Turks are buying a lot of Russian women for sex slaves.

As far as this thread's comments on Russian women...they are beautiful. They get not so beautiful after the hard life of Russia.

Walking around Moscow in the early evening of a summer day can be breathtaking. Tall, blue-gray eyed Russian blondes stalk about, still holding their heads high. They are beyond belief. The Rus were a Swedish tribe that went east, which tells you about the ethnicity that they share. They do have a hint of Asian genes; you can see it in the slightly hooded eyes.

It is a horrible tragedy and evidence of the utter evil of Communism that it destroyed these people who were once great. And now, 15 years gone, forces their young women to sell themselves any way they can to survive.

The passing of the Russians will be celebrated by some here, but not by me.
