Personally ran into these liberal RINO's in the mid-90s when they determined that no pubbies except Dole would speak at the State Convention. The Pat Buchanan supporters put up a howl but to no avail. We ended up having to listen to Liddy Dole. In the late 90s, the conservative battled on the abortion issue but to no avail. Didn't like Tebelius and her group in the 90s and don't like her or them now.

The problem with 3rd parties are two fold:

1) Too many of them.
2) They are too small.

It would take 50 years for one of them to become large enough to be a factor politically (remember, you must win elections before you can legislate). By then, this country will be ruined beyond repair under democrat leadership.

We need a conservative TAKEOVER of one of the two major parties. Let the leftover RINO's form the 3rd party and dilute leftists voting.

>Who is that hottie?

"... In 2005, Dickinson starred in the fifth season of The Surreal Life. Dickinson's actions during the show cast her in a negative light in some people's eyes, with her erratic, volatile behavior and a recurring feud with Omarosa. On one episode, she held a knife close to Omarosa, causing the others, especially Omarosa, to become uncomfortable. While referring to Omarosa, Dickinson claimed to have seen "the scars of current American Society." Omarosa herself brought up allegations that Dickinson was an alcoholic and a crack addict, though Dickinson's alleged addictions were never proven on the show and no cast member said they witnessed any drug use."

There are far too many who are in the Republican party, simply because it is the party currently on the ascendance when it comes to political power. In other words, these people are here because they seek political power for its own sake

Those people are NOT conservatives. Just Republicans.

Is FreeRepublic a CONSERVATIVE site? If so, are you saying that FreeRepublic is crazy and should go away?

Well, they are mostly good people, but they sure don't seem to be staunch conservatives.

"Moderate", another term for "as-liberal-as-any-far-Left-Socialist-Dumbocrat". They aren't honest enough to call themselves what they really are. What "moderates" definately are NOT is moderate! They are Liberals through and through!

No time to worry about Hillary. We have an election in a few months that we need to re-invigorate the GOP. It can be done, but they better start listening.

But Rush has not been very sharp of late.

On his worst day, with one hand tied behind his back, he's sharper than your sorry a$$ on your best day. How does it feel to be a marble?

This is what happens when you let the "moderates" into the big tent. You find out that they're only moderate toward liberals. When it comes to conservatives, they can't push us out the door fast enough.

Yes, that and the only party to ever grant amnesty. That doesn't sit well with me and there is an alternative... CP.

Rossi won. King county is a cesspool. But the voter roles are being cleaned up, they now require ID. So there is some hope. And I'm going to guess we have not seen the last of Rossi. Don't give up
