What part of "free exercise of religion" does the ACLU not understand?

"I wonder, however, if the Muslims would use the same argument to get call to prayer allowed? I don't know about you, but the sound of that would scare me to death."
It's already allowed in Dearborn, Mich. Your argument isn't needed to get the call to prayer allowed.

"It's already allowed in Dearborn, Mich."
I was afraid of that. I knew they'd been asking. Didn't know the results of the request.

""This is not an immigration bill problem. Not wanting prayer at school graduations has been going on for decades.""
Destroying america's christian heritage will increase dramatically with more immigrants..
and if you think this poor little Muzzie only wants to uphold the supreme courts 1962 prayer in school ruling , youre a fool

That is a wonderful idea, and quiet conservative, in the traditional sense.
Less state action. Makes me happy on many levels.

I fear my post to you sounded abrupt. I did not mean it that way and apologize.

My son graduated last night (freeper Ultra Sonic 007), tops in a class of 97 homeschoolers belonging to our Church School (In Alabama, you have to have a Church "cover school" to homeschool).
During his speech, he Invoked the Name of Jesus multiple times, and it never even occured to me how alien that might be to some...and THAT is a shame.

Congratulations on your son's graduation. I fear many Christians are getting a harsh wake-up call to what is going on in our country. Muhammad was a false "prophet" and islam brings nothing but suffering to all parts of this world.
They claim to revere Jesus as a prophet, but preach against the beliefs of those who follow Him. Their inability to understand the Trinity causes them to call Christians polytheists. They claim to tolerate Christianity and Judaism, but their tolerance is a hypocritical one. America is not based on Islamic principles, nor is islam even compatible with democracy.
As I have said before here, Thomas Jefferson, whose fear of the Catholic Church caused him to make a speech about separation of church and state, was proven wrong about the Church. But, if he had known about islam, he would have made sure the actual phrase "separation of church and state" written into the Constitution. For islam and all it stands for is precisely what he most feared and hated.

This is just wrong! How can one person stop something many others want? What is happening to our freedom in this nation? The judges must be put in their place! ENOUGH!!!!!

Thanks for the info. I read at Spencer's frequently (even post sometimes). I must have missed it.

By the way, in re: call to prayer, I wonder what would happen if all Christian churches started ringing their bells 5X a day? ;)
