S. 2611 is going nowhere; the House is unmovable on H.R. 4437. Any Reconciliation conference will accomplish mothing. Both the Senate and the House know that.
There will be no immigration bill this year and we will merely return (actually we never left) to nonenforcement of our existing immigration laws, condoned and encouraged by the U.S. Senate and the President.
We are no longer a nation with a leadership which believes in the rule of law.
Plan accordingly.
That became apparent to me just over a year ago; this nation's "leadership" has not altered my opinion of them except to cement my year-old belief.

The rule of law is the thing that differentiates us and Banana Republics ---and camouflage-clad federales patrolling the streets with shoulder holsters and ammo straps. The invaders undermine our freedoms and bring with them Marxist contempt for our efforts to maintain a civilized society under a Constitution.
The sense of entitlement these people have is outrageous-----that we owe them a living, and that US citizens, and the US government, exist for their convenience...... while they break our laws with complete impunity.
