Okay. That is probably the correct format. What I would suggest then, is a single cube with a forward and reverse. While forward and reverse would describe what I'm trying to say, it would probably be best to use the term jump forward or jump back.

They could have saved a lot of time and money by just using a Ouija board. :)

Frist of all, I have to acknowledge that Avacado came up with a comment that makes sense to me.

Here it is:

I'm no math whiz either. I'm just trying to wrap my head around the concept. LOL

See my post just prior to this one.

I do like your unseen side comment, since the fourth dimension is so illusive.

I've heard the term, but have forgotten the particulars.

"But manipulating/controlling gravity should be the ultimate aim. "

Manipulating gravity would be a boon to the earth, but faster than light space travel, could open up whole new worlds to us.

To quote Master Yoda:

"Hit it I would!"

Yoda has nothing to do with it. I am the one to bring balance to the Force. Because I am stupid and ugly.

A Stephen king book. A flight gets stuck outside of time. They land at the airport after yesterday but before today. The langoliers are these round things that look like PacMan that consume yesterday to make way for today - and our heroes are going to get ingested along with the rest of yesterday!!!

What's that? The bistromatic drive? Based on the principle that math is never the same inside an italian bistro?

Meet me at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe and we'll discuss it. I need a Pan-galactic Gargle Blaster.

Thanks for the reply. Even with a degree in Computer Science I had to scratch my head a bit. It sounds like you are saying that anything peculiar that happens in 3 dimensions that is not time must me caused by a 4th dimension? And that they are going to try and explain those "disturbances" through mathematics?

Anyway, thanks.... but my brain is hurting. ;-)

I've never understood

That's because you've never studied. Instead of doing the hard work of thinking for yourself, you've lazily allowed others, Darwinist bigots, to shape the argument and define the theses and tell you what your conclusion and opinion must be.

You don't have a clue. Worse, you don't have a clue you don't have a clue. To paraphrase Wolfgang Pauli: your spoonfed opinion is not merely not right, it isn't even wrong.

Come back and talk when you've gotten off your lazy duff and thought through the issue in a fully informed sense.

Petters added, "If braneworld black holes form even 1 percent of the dark matter in our part of the galaxy -- a cautious assumption -- there should be several thousand braneworld black holes in our solar system."

If this is a prediction of braneworld theory, it's hard for me to imagine it hasn't been falsified. Would we not have noticed several thousand black holes eating comets and whatnot? Are they so tiny their effects are undetectable? Shouldn't they have flashed off by now if so?

How can this be true?
