Hey Elton. The Catholic Church is totally into AIDS education. It's called "abstinence". You might look into it.

There's also the teaching that butt-sex is an abomination. However, it's there where Elton's education criticism has some merit, though not as he intended. Some Catholic bishops have an utterly atrocious record when it comes to condemning homosexual activity vigrously and frequently.

Yes, they blame him for fostering the spread of AIDS because he did not speak about the disease soon enough to suit them. As though gay men would have altered their behavior, if only their political enemy Reagan had warned them not to have sex. As though all the warnings from the Centers for Disease Control and other health agencies somehow were not credible, but a few words from Reagan would have been.
