Don't call me until they leave Or pay their evaded income taxes

Yeah, I wonder how they will ever figure out who's illegal or not with all those fake documents floating around. And we all no how stupid bureaucrats are to begin with. At least that's what I keep hearing on this forum.

Oh this is rich.

For the past six months, the "conservative purists" on Free Republic have been touting Mike Pence as the savior of the United States.

And now we have yet another Nacht der langen Messer as the "purists" eat their own.

You expected less?

Several days ago they were praising the virtues of Speaker Hastert as "a great American" because he was supporting their bill. And Hastert has done what these last six years?

Since obviously you're ignorant of history, I'm not going to even attempt to explain it to you.

How do we know 20 million illegal aliens can't be deported until it's tried? Oh yeah we can't even deport 10.

It can be done easy enough. The argument we hear from politicians like NYC mayor Bloomberg is that there are too many to deport and that it will deflate are economy - is total BS.

These politicos imply that the deportations would all happen at once, which would cause chaos.

In reality, the deportations would be a time-phased plan over 3 to 4 years, along with employer disincentives who hire the illegals. The economy would be able to adjust to a timed paced program that would barely cause a ripple in the GNP.

Their hollow arguments against mass deportation doesn't hold up under scrutiny.

Let me know when the odious union boilerplate is removed from the bill. The thought of "prevailing wage" and "just cause" makes my flesh creep. In case anyone thinks these don't sound bad, they're named to hide their perniciousness. I expect 'rat union boilerplate from 'rats, not from our two Republican-majority houses of Congress.

I believe all this nonsense is for naught, but in the end, will damage the trust we had in our elected officials. Because, factions in both political parties have already aligned themselves with the NWO. To many dots have been tied together, to prove this being no longer theory, but fact. Moreover, I believe any legislation considered and passed when the house and senate reconciles S-2611 abd HR 4437, will bolster towards the means to that end.....The United States of North America.

Pence is an ahole.

Yeah like twenty (no, not eleven, not twelve) million are going to leave the country, go through Visa Express in "about a week", and return singing the National Anthem in English--

Yo, Mike Pence, put the crack pipe down and step away from the microphone.

Our legislators and our chief executive are shucking and jiving and selling us out, doing the bow and scrape before their agridonors and the Rovian construct "the hispanic vote bloc".

It's enough to gag a maggot.

Good analysis. Truthfully, considering the present backlog of several million people that we are already struggling to process, trying to execute Pence's plan in his suggested time frame would be an absolute logistical nightmare.

"...Bienvenidos a Jiffy Visa, we'll process your application while you wait...".

With any deserved regrets to Mr. Hannity, my impression is that he's some full-plumed Chicken Hawk. And better than well recompensed to so do.
I recall him from local days, if not his daze, in NY.
He's less than some average man and more than eager to stand up his betters to some fusillage.
We all have to make a living..he should reconsider his...

"Or pay their evaded income taxes"

Nobody's saying this, but at the levels of income most illegals make, "paying their income tax" means getting a refund with no taxes withheld. In other words, taxed at a negative rate, just as you would be as a citizen with a low income and dependents..

Sure, I'll agree to amnesty. As soon as I get amnesty for all the automotive emissions systems I've tampered with, and the auto sears I've made for AR-15's. After all, everybody does it.

And in case there are any over-eager BATFE or EPA agents on this board, the above comments are mere rhetoric. I have neither the time nor actual skills to accomplish either.

Holes?

I listened to Congressman Pence on Sean Hannity's radio show Yesterday. Rep. Pence understands the political reality in getting legislation passed that will actually accomplish reform...he understands because he knows that the U.S. Senate will refuse to act and will not pass anything that doesn't reform this so-called crisis in one comprehensive bill.

Now, I make it pretty clear to the forum's members that I am not anti-immigrant regardless of their legal status so what I write is probably biased but, Sean Hannity was clueless as to the legislative realities that Rep. Pence kept trying to hammer home to him. Sean Hannity was under the impression that the House's bill would reach the senate and then face an up or down vote with each Senate member having to be on record for their vote. This was nice in theory but the Senate doesn't even have to acknowledge the House bill at all if it never makes it out of the reconciliation committee. If the Senate does not want to take legislative action then it wont. If the Senate takes no action then nothing becomes law. Since the Senate doesn't want to act in a "piece meal" bill it, and not the House, has the leverage make or break a deal, period! Sure, the House has leverage, too, if what comes from the Senate is not acceptable to the Representatives but NOTHING will get done without the consent of the Senate. And the "nothing", or status quo, is exactly what the House can't let happen.

Anyone who really listened to Sean Hannity radio program yesterday must have been frustrated by Hannity's inability to comprehend what the Congressman was trying to convey. Sean Hannity is a very smart man but yesterday, or at least the half hour I was listening to him, he was completely lost in the sauce. The only holes I witnessed were in Hannity's understanding on the matter.

Secure the borders and enforce employer sanctions, FIRST! After the Feds get the enforcement part up and running, then it'll be time to discuss a temporary worker program. The path to US citizenship, is to follow the law.

Well, yeah, but that's if your trying to get rid of illegal immigration, as opposed to providing your campaign donors with cheap labor.

Don't forget the Rockefeller Republicans who insisted Reagan take that mid-western dolt, Jerry Ford, on the ticket as Veep instead of the conservative, Paul Laxalt. Conservatives win the elections, and the Rockefeller Republicans run the show while never carrying their own states for the GOP. No wonder they call it the "Stupid Party."

NO bill is better than a BAD bill. And the Senate's Amnesty Bill is a VERY BAD BILL. Call your House member and tell him/her that in no uncertain terms. You get to vote or stay home and not vote for that bird in November, and they need to know that.

Agreed! I'm actually okay with the status quo, being the so-called Rockefeller Republican that I'm told that I am. Though being a Classical Liberal is anything but being supportive of government programs like Rockefeller Republicans tend to be.
