Sorry for the vanity, just had to share the good news of my awakening.

Utterly brilliant. Very very well written. I wish I had said it.

*yawn?*...oh, I'm sorry. did you say something
To: Anitius Severinus Boethius
Because I have learned the secret: The "secret" is that there is really only one political party in America...the "Status Quo Party". The two pretend parties are engaged in nothing more than a massive game of "Good Cop / Bad Cop", all intended to keep the American people off balance as they are shorn like sheep on a regular basis.

Nothing you need to bother yourself with. We know how diffcult it is for some of you to grasp higher concepts. Isn't it time for you to go tune into Lou Dobbs to recieve your instructions on what to be upset about today?

That's good but you've disenfranchised the "Real Conservatives".
To: Anitius Severinus Boethius
We needed 7 new Justices and the fact that Bush hasn't pushed Stevens, Ginsberg, Kennedy, Breyer and Souter to resign publically and often is evidence that he is just a RINO and not a True ConservativeYou got it dude - he should of made them resign pubically and often! I'd luv to see them resign often!

Ah I see! The massive increases in spending and utter lack of fiscal discipline, the medicare entitlement, the open borders, all just a clever bit of strategery! Bush is misunderestimated again, but this time by his alleged supporters!

Real Conservatives are just a splinter group of the True Conservatives and are to be regarded as more dangerous than Hillary.

LOL!
Yes, but they do channel the founding fathers regularly.

You see, when we got 2 new Justices on the Supreme Court, I thought that was good. But it wasn't. We needed 7 new Justices and the fact that Bush hasn't pushed Stevens, Ginsberg, Kennedy, Breyer and Souter to resign publically and often is evidence that he is just a RINO and not a True Conservative. After nominating Harriet Meiers, I've concluded that Bush isn't a RINO, he's just another patronage-granting pol.

Trickery! I channel Patrick Henry, they merely channel Dolly Madison.

Doubling the budget of the Department of Education was a good start. Pushing through a $500 billion prescription drug benefit that will cost us literally trillions was a great step forward. Legalizing 20 million foreign citiznes on our shores will be a great next step. Allowing them to bring over a number of close relatives each is going to be the icing on that cake.
I can't wait until we have five times the number of recent immigrants we do today. I can't wait to see the education costs, the healthcare costs, the welfare costs...
Yep, Rome wasn't built in a day alright. It didn't crumble in a day either. That's why I take one look at today's Republicans as ask, what's the hurry? Can't we drag out our decline longer than this?
You're not the only Republican asking themselves questions these days. Despite some good, we've made some major strides backwards and to the left. That sucks big-time!
All this with a clear majority in the Executive and Legislative branches of our government. God forbid we should lose some seats. I can't even start to imagine how bad it would be if these stalwart Republicans weren't in the majority.

Well said. Most of the 'Real Conservatives' here are still upset that Pat Buchanan isn't president.

Gee see Mike Pence is offering up legislation that includes a Guest Worker Program? Guess you will have to find a new tag line since by your standards he too is not a "Conservative" anymore. Hmm. Let see, who DOES that leave in the 100%er's world who is not now a "Traitor"? Guess that just leaves you all back where you started. With Pat Buchanan and less then 1% of the vote. Boy when you only will accept 100% of ONLY what you want, sure is hard to find ANYONE you can vote for now.

The CBO said that the tax cuts would result in lower revenues. They were wrong. But I should believe their projections about other issues?
Ok.
