I posted a few pics on the 5/15 dose, I believe. I was in DC that evening, and had i/n access. Hubby and I spent Mon & Tues in DC (walked every inch of it), then rented a car and went thru Georgetown, down to Alexandria old town, toured Mount Vernon, then, on to Williamsburg. Stayed in a B&B for 2 days, (walking on bloody stubs by that time), and toured Jamestown, then drove up to Baltimore. Flew home. Whew, what a whirlwind trip. It was FABULOUS. The architecture and the trees were to die for, and I saw my first cardinal flying around Jamestown Island. Here's a pic, just for you...

If you take another vacation in the area, I have a 7th-cousin who runs a B&B in Middlesex County, VA on the Rappahannock River, that was built ~1680 by my 8th-great-grandfather. We stayed there a couple of years ago, it was neat. I can FReepMail you details if you want.
