Not long after 9/11, almost 1/2 Americans didn't even want to defend themselves, thinking they could talk themselves out of the looming conflicts with radiscal Islam.
All liberals, many independents, and some conservatives won't give a rat's @ss about avenging Israel.
We will just have to agree to disagree, and I for one hope we don't find out what it really would be like.
I disagree...Right after 9/11 we could have taken on the entire islamic world and the people would have supported it...
Problem is, it took almost a year before we could get parts from Sweden to make our cruise missles operable...Sweden was against the war and our feeble gov't has allowed our military apparatus to be outsourced...
By the time we could move, people were rethinking their patriotism...
