Ah, the *real* culture of corruption... Dems!

One rule for Republicans, another for Democrats.
Aren't the Congresscritters always saying that "Bush isn't above the law"??
Well, if Bush isn't, they aren't....and I, for one, don't want my tax dollars paying Congresscritters, knowing that they can be hiding anything in their offices without fear of a WARRANTED search.
Hastert can stuff it!
How "courageous." Another nominee for the Kennedy's "Profiles In Courage" award.
Toss his family's digs. Jefferson, like Harry Reid, uses his family for cover,
And so, if Chewbacca is a wookie, you must acquit.

I was hoping for something anal.

Abe Lincoln put congressmen in jail for treason. If a congressman's office is a crime scene, and if you have a warrant supported by probable cause, there is no privilege that applies to a congressional office. Once again, they seek rights that the rest of us don't have.
Democrats don't resign. I believe it is in the Constitution somewhere.
Hey, it's Ray Nagin's "Big Easy", Jefferson will run for Congress, and win going away. What was it that La. Governor, Edwards said, "They'd have to catch me in bed with a live boy or a dead girl"?
Good. The longer he fights resigning the harder it will be for the Democrats lackeys in the media to ignore it.
You're right, he can stuff it. Just because Reps and Sens are elected officials, it doesn't give them immunity from criminal acts they commit.
Wassa matter, Denny, got a little squeeze of your own in the icebox of your office wet bar?
I was channeling surfing tonight and ran across some guy named Beck on CNN Headline. He made some remark that Jefferson was the guy during Katrina who demanded the National Guard escort him to his home so that he could check his belongings. Or maybe this plunderer did not want his freezer looted by other looters.
Sooo...another Congressional perk. Law enforcement cannot search the sacred ground of their office even with a warrant. I wonder how many of them are now smuggling incriminating evidence out of their offices.....just in case. Would make a good political cartoon.
Since they were working with a search warrant, maybe he'd better take it up with the judicial branch.
Concealing evidence of a crime is a constitutionally protected activity? I don't think so.
