He is now a demi-god to them.

1. The only answer I have to that is:

2. If Bush is a demi-god, then you should get a grip on the fact that the demi-devils are the ones who are going to win if we conservatives don't get a grip on reality and quit pouting.

I'm ticked off about some stuff too, but if the price for "party discipline" or "principle" is giving Pelosi, Reid and McCain more power, I say "No, no a thousand times NO!"

I'm not going to divorce my husband just because we have an argument.

Huh! Isn't that funny, all this time I thought you were a guy. Guess I should have looked at your home page!

On some issues, there is no compromise. Facing the loss of our nation and our culture at the hands of illegal immigrants is one such issue.

If it weren't for the constitutionparty ad in your tagline, I'd think this was a bit of wisdom. Instead, it is almost certainly an example of a stopped clock being right twice a day.

The thread police
They come to me in my bed
The thread police
They're coming to arrest me
Oh no

If SFC stands for Sergeant First Class, thanks for serving.

To be fair, I think you will find that almost all supposed Bushbots have significant disagreements with the President on policy. We are not however, willing to shoot ourselves in the face and sit out/vote third party in November to prove some sort of nebulous point.

Bears repeating.

Excessive growth of government (spending) and abandonment of border control have been Bush's undoing as far as the Republican base is concerned. Both of these areas have been completely within Bush's control. Bush has sold us out, and he has only himself to blame (unless this had been his plan all along).

Great, so let's bring on Speaker Pelosi, right?

Bush and the establishment Republicans have given the middle finger to the base for exactly the point you raised. I say, why $upport and vote for Republicans if all you get are Democrat (=socialist) policy? Bush and the establishment have sold out the base. Why, one can only wonder but never know. my guess is that they answer to the same master (and it isn't WE THE PEOPLE).

Those of you who support the president, please forgive my misguided sarcasm, and please accept my apology.

De nada. Very classy.

I regret voting for the man.

Which guy are you wishing was in office to implement the conservative agenda, Al Gore or John Kerry?

The only thing I hate on FR is that you can't criticize the president or his judgement without being accused of spewing hate.

I'm a supporter of the President, but even if I were a detractor, I'd be posting this message to you.

FR has over 100,000 members. The bottom line is that there are going to be jerks in any crowd that big. Such behavior says nothing about the nature of those who are pro-Bush at this time.

Where did you hear this? I think both parties are full of people who mainly want to reinforce their own ideas and do not handle debate or disagreement well.

Oh no, there's a marked difference. Don't let a few jerks on FR convince you that conservatives are like Dems. I have never met a hard core Dem who could defend a single point without name calling or trying deperately to change the subject.

Strike that, I've met one.

How would President Kerry, or Speaker Pelosi, speak of the Minutemen?

George Bush - right on terror, right on Afghanistan, right on Iraq, but wrong on illegal invaders, wrong on Harriet Miers, wrong on McCain-Feingold, wrong on Islam as a peaceful religion and wrong on the Dubai Port Deal.

You can't have eveything I suppose.

Please elaborate. Don't let the glories of the great and mighty Dubya hold you back from describing the even greater glories we would receive under God-King Gore, God-King Kerry and God-Queen Pelosi.

It is good that conservatives are faithful to principle and not caught up in personality like Democrats are.

The problem is there are many people who have mistaken throwing a good man under the bus for being faithful to principle. Their ideas of principle lead to us practicing our principles under Speaker Pelosi.

So I don't feel at all betrayed. But I did try to tell yall Bush would screw conservatives back in 1999. Unfortunately nobody listened.

We'd have been so much better off with President McCain, right?
