There are already two or three recurring threads that are "off limits" for criticizing the President. Are you trying to create yet another one? Just how many sheltered threads do you need?
The "lose of our culture", is it? Hmmmmmmm...the feared and horrid M-13 gang, was created from OUR CULTURE! The founders were legals and illegals who saw gangs, AMERICAN, HOME GROWN AND DEVISED GANGS AND MADE UP THEIR OWN. When many of them were deported, they brought that part of OUR CULTURE home with them, and then, when coming back here, reupped with those still still here.
And what else, of our delightful "culture" have they picked up?
It's a lovely catch phrase and all that, but how, exactly are we losing our nation and our "culture"? Please be specific.
Me too. This man has freed 50 million Muslims from tyranny, and the "true conservatives" give him the back of their hand because he's also trying to untie the gordian knot of illegal immigration.

If I use the plural illegals (which I don't think I did in my last post) it's an acknowledgment that although Mexicans comprise the vast majority of illegals there are other nationalities as well. I would not challenge much of what you said. I can't speak for all or even most of the Bush critics. I refer to those who make it clear they support him in other areas. I just believe that we should not have a gag order against criticism just because the POTUS is besieged by his true enemies. As for unbridled, general Bush bashing, I part company with them. I may be wrong, but I don't think that applies to most of the Bush critics on border issues (and I've read many of their posts). Again, I 'm not referring to the "savagers." As for being "concerned only with the Mexican border," there is every reason to be concerned primarily with it.
What a "shot in the arm" this post was. Thank You. I get so tired of the negativity lately - I hope every Freeper reads this and stops to think about what FreeRepublic is all about.

Well said, sinkspur. The so-called real conservatives are anything but.
It was the word "BORDERS", not "ILLEGALS". And no, the vast majority of BORDERITES here, couldn't care less about any border but the Southern one. Some refuse to even believe that there is a massive problem with illegals coming in through other venues and borders; let alone the fact that we have far more to fear from THEM, than the all in one, lumped together, fallaciously, as "MEXICANS".
If you are not one of these, then take off the "shoe".
