Are you in business?
Small businesses run this country. It's a fact.
And as they said in one of the Death Wish movies...."Nothing significant ever can happen in your life until you're self-employed" (paraphrase of course).
I don't say we're better than anybody else. Just saying that it gives you a completely different perspective on this immigration matter.
And having personally reaped the benefits of Bush's tax cuts and the Democratic liberal government of Maryland turning a blind eye to illegals...well I just had to ask.

No I am not self employed or otherwise employed, DC, I am retired. I am one of those leeches who spent the best years of my life, working for peanuts in one of those cushy but essential government jobs that promised peanut butter sandwiches upon retirement. Now I discover that I am allergic to peanuts.
I will say this about small businesses or medium businesses or large businesses: If their survival depends upon free access to slaves, peons or coolies; they need to be forcefully reminded that slavery has been illegal for over a century in the United States, as illegal as crossing our borders without proper authorization.
