When they find out who took the files, just publish the perps photo and name. He won't be able to run fast enough or far enough.
I'm NOT buying it....
I have heard TWO reports about vets that are missing....
what are the chances that someone takes this info home...when they CERTAINLY KNOW BETTER....and then it is stolen?
Someone got a BIG bonus in their bank's monthly statement...
.
Then lock the bastard up for 25 years...
In July, 1973 a fire broke out on the sixth (top) floor of the main building of the National Personnel Records Center on Page Blvd in St. Louis. The millions of highly compacted paper files were very resistant to firefighters, and the thing burned for days.
When all was said and done, and the fire out, the remnants of the walls and roof were dismantled. The mountain of charred and soaked paper and cardboard that was left was shoveled down onto the lawn below, and some perfunctory attempts at restoration started immediately and went on for years after.
Meanwhile, the flooring on the former sixth floor was paved over and became the roof of the restored, five-story NPRC building. There was some water damage to the floors below, but not as much as you'd think, given that the firemen of St. Louis diverted the major part of the flow of the Mississippi into it for several days. The NPRC building serves in the same capacity today, altho a floor shorter.
What was lost to the fire? Just about every Army and AAF individual medical record from WW2, and large chunks from the pre-Korea period. Other services (and other decades) were spared, for the most part. Army hospital records were also OK since they were on microfiche and in another building.
No....Either a ploy by the Digital Angel Corporation to come up with a "CHIP IMPLANT SOLUTION," because we're all "tired" of Identity Theft, or it's Hilary (Hitlery's) theft to add to her FBI Files for the final showdown betwen Hillary's GUN GRABBING UN Partners In Crime......and the America Lovin Patriots who are this Country's Last Stand......Just a Thought
Give that government employee a promotion! If he contributes to the democrats, give him two promotions.
This really pisses me off!
I don't believe it was an accident. I'd check certain person's standard of living to see if there are significant changes over the course of the next few years.
thanks for the info ... as if the retired pay wasn't low enough
What the hell is going on with these nerds in Washington D.C.
This analysts should spend time in the four bar motel for a long time.
Something don't smell right in Washington D.C.
As I said....Either a ploy by the Digital Angel Corporation to come up with a "CHIP IMPLANT SOLUTION," because we're all "tired" of Identity Theft, or it's Hillary (Hitlery's) theft to add to her FBI Files for the final showdown betwen Hillary's GUN GRABBING UN Partners In Crime......and the America Lovin' Patriots who are this Country's Last Stand......Just a Thought
Total agreement there.... the fix is in....
Dad called that 1-800 number and was told to call back later since there were so many vets calling in ... this is a disaster and the Fed's are making the vets do all the work in protecting themselves .....
I'll bet these guys are happy. /sarcasm>
bttt
If you're a veteran, it was there.
Ironically, I found this out tonight while I was at the VA clinic. The VA better offer free credit report checks for every single last veteran because of this. The last thing I need is to have my credit screwed up, or my identity stolen, because some of some criminally incompetent beaurucrat who decided all on his own that he was above the law.
FR has alot of members who are veterans. I wonder if there is any chance we could pressure the VFW or American Legion to go to the VA and demand that we be given free credit protection until these files are recovered.
