Representative William J. Jefferson has denied accusations of bribery, most recently at a news conference last Monday in New Orleans.
This is an outrage! This is unprecedented! He is trying to taint the jury pool by denying his guilt. At least that's what black former prosecutors say about white guys making similar statements.
