If McGay not been so stupid as to place his Israeli lover in a key government postion, Jimmy would be headed for higher office with the blessings of the Democrats.

You are right... his "gayness" didn't get him into trouble - it was his stupidity. And scamming, lying, and cheating probably didn't help (but isn't that normal for New Jersey?)

Some might even have overlooked his gayness IF he had exercised his office properly. However, crime after official crime was committed, and the sucker knew he'd be exculpated BECAUSE he was gay.

McGreevey's tell-all is another Pay-Me-I'm-a-Victim vehicle. McSeedy actually thinks people will believe he's a "victim" after all his depraved and illegal machinations in elective office. The list of state and federal crimes would fill an encyclopedia of political crime waves.

It was all downhill from here when Jimbo and Golan met when then-Mayor Jimmy went on a politicans' obeisance tour to Israel to scrounge for votes and campaign ocntributions. Even better than the tour, Jimbo brought Golan home as a vote-buying souvenir:

This pic of McGreevey meeting Golan Cipel in Israel occured just two weeks after McG proposed marriage to his now-ex Dina Matos.

Days after McGreevey called his I-am-A- Gay-American-Pay-Me press conference, his top moneyman, who played matchmaker with Jimmy and Cipel, Charles Kushner, pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations and blackmail charges involving sending his sister a videotape Kushner made of her husband and a prostitute.

Law enforcement sources told the media that the FBI was investigating Cipel's blackmail efforts. Attorneys for Cipel were alleged to have demanded millions of dollars from McGreevey in exchange for Cipel not filing a sexual harassment lawsuit.

That is to say, they were extorting taxpayer dollars.
