Who's running on the Republican side in this? I'm wondering the same thing. I'd be willing to trade Lieberman for a Republican, even a RINO, so long as he votes with the Republicans to break filibusters. On the other hand, I'd hate to trade Lieberman for another far left wing Democrat.

He is a self-described Moderate-Conservative, but is better than Lieberman, and a ton better than Lamont or Wiecker.
