Spouses like you (not all, very thankfully!) have always had a special place in your heart for spouses like me.

Spouses like you never stood by our side. You never supported us, you never extended your hand in friendship, you were never kind to us, you never offered any guidance or assistance or advise, and it is apparent now that you never will.

From all the reservist wives who strongly and proudly stood by their man and county while enduring financial hardship due to loss of civilian income and having virtually no family support structure of any kind that spouses like you are conveniently afforded and have obviously taken for granted: Thanks...for nothin’.

I would be interested in knowing whether the persecution of reservists you are describing is system wide, cofined to your base/post, or is simply something you have perceived individually.

I certainly hope some othr military wives, both active and reserve, show up and clarify this issue.

By the way, the last post sounds to me very self-centered, in which you are complaining about slights to you, personally, from nameless wives. I have not seen that aspect from any military person who posts on this forum, but I could be quite wrong.

Thankfully the likes of you are very few and far between. We welcome wives of N'Guardsmen and Reserves every day into our support groups and most continue to join us after their spouses come home

You obviously didn't make any effort seeking out those in the same position you. You preferred to play the 'Pity Poor Me' role instead
