I did seek support groups. It’s not like I sat on my tush and waited for someone to come to me, as much as you'd like to think. There was only one in all of Northern California at the time (about two hours from where I live) and it fell apart as quickly as it started.

I created an online forum to try and bring people together again. It grew quite popular, and for a while the site was getting around 3000 hits per day.
