I am sure you would feel so much happier with Hillary, or Al Gore...

I think we all know how you feel, thats why this article is a good reminder.

I still think years from now when we forget our immediate disappointments and start looking at the Bush presidency in the big picture (which is the real picture for Presidents), we will see him as a man Reagan would greatly approve of.

"I'd like to but I feel so stabbed in the back right now. :("

You should enter the following keywords (with the quotes, as a phrase) in the Google search engine.

"stab in the back theory"

It will lead you to some important historical reading. ...a little off-topic (or maybe not), but your mention caught my eye and jogged my memory. Hmmm...come to think of it more, it does have much to do with the reason for the topic at hand (so many turning against our President and encouraging our Islamist enemies by supporting the Democrats).

Liberals go by "feelings". Go by facts. This article is true. Feelings is not a good thing in Politics or Religion.

"I'd like to but I feel so stabbed in the back right now. . . "

Crap.

Let remind you of something that your kindergarten teacher somehow failed to get across: the world is not all about you.

It's not even mainly about you.

The man in the White House has to deal daily with a world full of idiots who would gladly destroy both you and your countrymen. Your petty whines and single-issue prejudices are nothing but self-indulgent me, me, me. Stuck at five years old.

Nobody stabbed you in the back. Your back doesn't even register. The collective back of this fine nation DOES matter, and the fine man in the White House HAS OUR BACK.

Not yours, OURS.

If you won't be part of the solution, at least shut up and quit trying to make matters worse.

What do you propose as an alternative?

How can someone 'stab' you 'in the back' by doing what he has said he will do?

I'm beginning to wonder..........SERIOUSLY wonder..........what the psychological problems are of all you freepers who keep saying you were 'betrayed.'

In addtion to your sel-absorbed view that the President of the United States, and Leader of the Free World is at your beck and call, and has to do what YOU want, or your feeling are hurt, you show an amazing ignorance of history, the Constitution, and the real world.

I feel sorry for ALL of you.

Me too. I went from thinking Bush belonged on Mt. Rushmore - literally - to talking back to some radio host last week by starting out saying, "When we get rid of Bush we can ..." (in ref to the illegal problem).

BUT I know the dims would be VERY much worse. I think the reason we are so upset is because we weren't very realistic in our expectations. Until he just couldn't keep his mouth shut on the illegal business, Bush was very good or good enough on almost everything else (not CFR).
