I've had terminally ill relatives. If I could have done something to ease their pain and get them to heaven faster, I would have, and they would have wanted it that way.

Despicable - as a resident of the Detroit area, I think you're overrating Fieger. He's far worse than despicable.

Sounds like Kevorkian needs a more effective lawyer to help him out. Might I recommend Georgie Felos?

MI resident myself and I agree
But ya knows what is more despicable than Fieger?
The fact that MSU sold its soul for some cash donated by Fieger and named a law college after him

Put him in the same cell as Mussaui. One of two things will happen. 1. the good Dr. will help Mussaui "end it all" 2. Mussaui can rid the world of an "infidell" Then we will have enough on the other one to give them the death sentence. The world then is a better place

So Dr. Death has suddenly discovered that when it's HIS life, it's precious? Beautiful! I was just dumbfounded.

My mother died after 4 year battle w/ cancer. At the end, I prayed God would take her because the sounds of her moaning and crying at night due to the pain of the disease where too much to bear. Actually...I think you have hit the nail on the head!!
My personal belief is that docs are too scared to prescribe pain meds, and there's a stupid belief that terminal patients will become addicts!!
People are scared of dying in pain. If docs had the freedom to medicate (when necessary)...people would not need this "suicide" option.

I was a Pharmacy Intern at Saratoga General Hospital when he was our Pathologist.
He was very straight forward and very approachable.
But, he was a VERY, VERY, STARNGE man!

Well I was thinking, work release.
We have some people at Club Gitmo that can't do the job themselves.
Maybe Dr. Jack could help them out!! Then when his done, we'll give him time off, for good behavior!!!

re: Have a look at his artwork and see if you don't agree.
Wow! Those were incredibly awful! They remind me of some of the art from my Abnormal Psychology textbook in college.
Did you notice the link to purchase prints of his work? I can't imagine he has had many takers!

I guess you are most qualified to speak on the matter...as I've said before...I don't think doctors ease the way enough for dying patients, and that's why we're in this mess.

Everybody has, or should have, the absolute right to end their life.
If you do not own your being, if the State comes first, what do you own?
