While God, no doubt, wants us to help our fellow man, I believe that He doesn't want us to break His other commandments while doing it. I'm thinking in particular of "thou shalt not steal".
Further, Christianity is a religion that can be practiced no matter what kind of society you live in. If Christians are oppresses they can practice in secret. Christians are responsible for their own behavior, not that of others.
Of course it is. And how does one learn who God is? Answer: Through His word, the Bible. Anyone who doesn't believe God's word can not know who God is because they think that it is fiction rather than the inspired word of God. How can one have a relationship with something that he doesn't believe in?
There is a big difference between Christ/God's word and political correctness. Most liberals worship political correctness and dismiss God's word. But they claim that they believe, thinking that saying that is a "get into heaven free" card.
