However it seems a good idea to replace "moderates" with "conservatives" in Republican districts. Turnout determines elections, so we don't have to worry much about "moderates" voting for the Democrats. They are more likely to stay home than to vote for the Democrat.

And they were swept out of office. Carter was replaced with 2 terms of solid Conservatives and another not so conservative, and Clinton was also replaced with 2 terms.

If we want to move this nation to a more consecrative direction, the so called conservative party needs to act like conservatives.
