The good thing is he didn't go down. His jockey did a masterful job keeping the horse on his feet. I do hope so!!
I remember way back when , I believe, Riva Ridge, broke his leg and had to be put down.
You think the horses are so big and powerful, but they have such fragile lags.

But this is nothing new in horse racing. The single biggest quarrel I have with the sport is that they DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO TRY TO IMPROVE SAFETY. Excuse me for shouting.
