What most cracks me up is how Murtha is the one vet in Congress the media rely on; funny how they don't seem much interested in those who support the war; if you notice, even McCain, when he says positive things about the war, is barely covered; when he says something against Republicans, though, wall-to-wall coverage.
One could make the point that when he does that it's a man-bites-dog story (it is? In McCain's case it's the norm).
OK--so what's so special about a Democrat bitching about the war?

No American who has ever served in or is currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces should ever talk to or recognize the existence of Murtha for the rest of his natural life. Any attempt that he makes to communicate with an honorable citizen of this country should be totally ignored.
Murtha is a sick, demented old man that has discarded any honor and sense of decency that he once might have had. He should be stricken from the rolls of the United States Marine Corps and shunned as the leper that he is.

Turning purple with rage--for the second time: In 1968 Murtha personally asked then-
U.S. Rep. John Saylor (R-Pa.) for assistance in obtaining two Purple Hearts, but was
turned down because it was determined Murtha lacked sufficient evidence of wounds.
