Tony to a reporter who asked a stupid question: "The world is a much different place [than it was five years ago], perhaps you've noticed...".
LOL
To: Loyal Buckeye
I didn't read anything BUT stupid questions. It is pathetic that these idiots are even permitted NEAR the White House. These questions are the kind that 4th graders would come up with.
To: Kaslin
Even though I disagree with the President on a few things, picking Tony is not one of them.
Great choice Mr.President.

can you give me the latest rationale the U.S. has for invading Iraq? How funny is that? As soon as I read it, I knew it was that ugly old sea monster.

I must be watching too many press conferences.
Every time I see something labeled "Q", I hear it in Helen Thomas' voice.

Looks like the press was really trying to trick Tony into giving them a "President: We Don't Like Spanish!" sound byte.
You know what I've NEVER seen in the United States? A Mexican with a Spanish-English dictionary or phrase book.

MR. SNOW: Well, in your opinion he didn't make the case. He made the case. He laid out his reasons. Bwaaahaahaa! It's about time we have someone in the White House that calls a stupid question what it is, instead of trying to answer it seriously.
To: Kaslin
I've noticed there have been no 'setting the record straight' news releases this week. Looks as though Tony got the media's attention in his first week.

What a bunch of maroons. You can see how their questoins aren't even questions. "Nativist" is a friendly way of saying "racist." Tony doesn't take the bait though. He's good. Informal, collegial, yet tough.

You keep asking me state of mind questions about whether the President is concerned or not concerned about it, and I'm afraid we don't have the mind-meld going yet -- (laughter) -- you'll have to give me a little more time to get a mind-meld. LOL!
To: Kaslin
Helen ... you can spot her a mile away.

My question for Tony:
Mr. Snow, in July of last year, Phyllis Schlafly reported,
[A] CFR document, called "Building a North American Community," asserts that George W. Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin "committed their governments" to this goal when they met at Bush's ranch and at Waco, Texas on March 23, 2005. The three adopted the "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" and assigned "working groups" to fill in the details.
First, is this assertion correct? And, second, it if is, can you update us on the product of the working groups?

Tony Snow showed remarkable restraint and level headedness when dealing with the child like media. He is more of a preschool monitor than anything else right now.
