My question for Tony:

Mr. Snow, in July of last year, Phyllis Schlafly reported,

[A] CFR document, called "Building a North American Community," asserts that George W. Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin "committed their governments" to this goal when they met at Bush's ranch and at Waco, Texas on March 23, 2005. The three adopted the "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" and assigned "working groups" to fill in the details.
First, is this assertion correct? And, second, it if is, can you update us on the product of the working groups?

The CFR said and Phylis Schafley said...

I wonder, are their "reports" accurate or would it be better to have "The President said" straight from "the horse's mouth"?

The words North American Community could mean a free flowing economic connection among the 3 countries, such as NAFTA or other economic/trade agreements.

Whether for or against those, you go off the deep end if you assume the words mean "no borders" or "open borders" as if there are no borders to control among the 3.

Oh, but if you go off that deep end you'll have plenty of company on the "Jorge Bush" insult-in- every-line threads. Why not join them instead of trying to foist it on this one?
