Today President Bush spoke about the American Competitiveness Initiative to a large crowd at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky
He also spoke at a fund raiser for Kentucky Congresman Geoff Davis at the Hilton Cincinnati Airport in Florence, Kentucky. The President also attended a luncheon for Rep Thelma Drake, R-Va., who was unable to attend her fundraiser due to an important vote in a House committee. But before he left for these events he met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal, at the White House this morning

rise in the polls. The polls are bugus. He would be already high in a poll if it were possible to get an accurate measure of public opinion. But it is no longer possible to reach a representative sample of the likely voters.

The polls are bugus. I agree. But....the polls are the news, and those less informed are influenced by them.
President Bush.... whose efforts have kept us safe since 9/11; who has shifted geopolitics toward freedom; who not only steered the US economy through its most perilous time but also turned it into the envy of Western civilization...deserves better representation, even from the MSM.
I read so often on FR that Bush 43 is becoming Bush 41. --- Well, I may not always agree with GWB, but IMHO, Bush 41 should be humbled by his son's accomplishments.
And, America should be standing in unified applause for the accomplishments of George Walker Bush.

Yes, the polls are the news. The purpose of the polls is to shape public opinion. That is why I keep pointing out that the polls are bogus.

My wife and I were at the northern Kentucky fund raiser for congressman Geoffrey Davis.
Met the President and had our pictures taken with him ... my wife was thrilled; the last time she was so ecstatic was our wedding night and the time she was alone for three floors on a elevator with Paul Newman (back in the hunk era) ... the last time, that I'm aware of ... when my wife was speechless. ;)

What's that with all the empty seats? Graduations never have empty seats.
