MILFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The FBI said Thursday that a search of a horse farm for clues to Jimmy Hoffas disappearance is expected to take at least a couple weeks and likely will involve the removal of a barn.
Federal agents began digging at Hidden Dreams Farm on Wednesday in a search for the human remains of James Riddle Hoffa, according to the search warrant, obtained by The Associated Press
The former Teamsters leader disappeared in 1975 on a night he was to have dinner at a restaurant about 20 miles away.
Hoffa was to meet with a New Jersey Teamsters boss and a Detroit Mafia captain, and investigators have longed suspected the two had Hoffa killed to prevent him from regaining the union control after he served time in federal prison for jury tampering.
This is the best lead Ive seen come across on the Hoffa investigation, Daniel Roberts, special agent in charge of the Detroit FBI field office, said Thursday outside the farm.
He declined to say where the lead came from but said the search included the use of heavy construction equipment and investigators expected to be there a couple weeks....continued.

I've had an on-going joke for a few years about my son's bedroom. I just tell people that it's a rental storage place for Jimmy Hoffa's body, because nobody will ever find him in there.
You're getting technical, stop thinking so much.:)
Yes, I see your point, but that would involve searching large areas in probably every state.
Well, for the most part it would keep searches out of the private sector since they fail there.
Why the expense to find this guy after all these years?
What is so important about him that we must find the answer?
I saw an interview with the "Iceman" and boy that was as gruesome as it gets.
I can't get over him saying he would toss his bottles of his favorite cologne on the walls when dismembering his human contracts because of the smell that reeks from cutting them up.
(shivers down the spine)
He was an evil creep that the Mafia used to do there dirty work.
Did he ever say who killed Hoffa?
Nothing's important about it, IMHO, it's just become a bizarre version of "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego".
I hadn't heard or read of the Iceman before, but a Google search for Iceman+mafia pulled up enough threads to scare the hell out of me. That Kuklinski makes Charlie Manson look like a Cub Scout. I only scanned through a few of the articles about him, but I didn't see any reference to Jimmy Hoffa on them.
The days of x42 opened my long sleeping brain to the lame stream media and it's tactics ...
This month's "Keep the simple buzzing with useless $h!t" is Jeraldo finds Jimmy Hoffa in Al Capones Tunnel.
Sorry, knarf. This simpleton posts very few threads, and on the graveyard shift it didn't look so bad. I'll bow to your superior judgement, and learn to post good threads following your example. It would help, though, if you would post some threads.
Hell, I'm too busy working and learning for me to actually post an article ... I'm usually late to the party anyway ... I hated graveyard ... my son didn't really come to me until he was 4.
Excellent point. It's not like CSI will swoop in to find the killer.
the human remains of James Riddle Hoffa,
This is why I love this web site. I learn something new every day. I never knew his middle name was Riddle. Thanks for the post.
A Detroit News article this morning states that the police did search this property around the time of the disappearance, but did not find anything.
The dude was fish food.
FBI - working on the cases that matter the most! Terrorism? Immigration? Feh.
I read a good book on the Hoffa murder called, "I heard You Paint Houses". The title is Mafia code for a hit, where the victims blood 'paints' the walls of a house when shot. The book details ties between the Mafia, Teamsters, the JFK assassination, 'bought' Washington politicians, and the Hoffa contract killing.
Well at least we now know that Jimmy Hoffa wasn't buried under Tammy Faye Baker's make-up.
Yes, spend weeks looking for Hoffa's body in the newest location and he's only been dead since 1975. How would finding his corpse really help anything now in 2006?
Well, at least the FBI finally gave up looking for Judge Crater who disappeared in 1930.
